Those "MiGs" were infact repainted F-5s, prolly too expensive to do anything else, and based on when the movie was made, I doubt they could have gotten their hands on a real MiG-28. Great shots though!

i think they HAD some MiG-23 and MiG-21 at that time but they didn't use them to prevent general panic (soviets are attacking us) in the area where the were filming
