The World on Time

Postby Fly2e » Tue Aug 12, 2003 8:27 am

I took alittle time off today from flying to my next point in Alaska due to some inclimate weather.
The snow did not stop this Fed Ex DC-10 by FFX from making it's delivery. I managed to get some pictures of it while I was hanging around the airport.

The pilot did not appreciate me running out onto the runway for this shot!

Image

I quickly got out of the way when I heard the engines start to spool!!

Image

As the aircraft took to the skies, the sun broke through the clouds which gave me the oppertunity for a great shot!

Image

The sun quickly moved behind the clouds again as the jet started to retract it's gear.

Image

As the DC-10 pulls itself out of the mountain range, the sun once again appears, making for another interesting shot!

Image

As she climbs up and out, the snow is still falling.

Image

As she heads South with this delivery full of Bresnec's Polar Penguins, I head back to the airport lounge for an Irish Coffee and a warm fire!
Maybe I will just hang around today!

Hope you liked!!

Those are superb!! Very artistic, too. I particularly like the third one. Where'd you get the plane?

Where's it from. I've been looking all over for a decent FedEx one.

GREAT SHOTS!  I have got to get FS 2004!
Does FedEx really have planes with the green on them?  I thought that was only on their trucks.  I'm going to go look for a pic.

First, Let me say, GREAT SHOTS & DETAIL!!!

And not that it really matters, but there are no planes with the green FedEx on them- the green is on the trucks and is for the FedEx Ground branch of the corp.  The planes all have orange--  FedEx

Check here:

That's all- and I neeeeeeed ACOF!
