I love the plane, but those clouds leave a bit to be desired........I think they are just a bit too cleanly defined, but then thats a personal thing I guess......

Yeah you're probably right #9 I'll have to reduce the slider from max down to something more logical.

Or maybe I'll have to use the 2D clouds instead of the 3D clouds.

That's probably it    ::)

I can't put my finger on it, but they look somewhat flat ?......I've seen you post much better clouds than that before.....is this 2004 ?

Yes it's Fs9.

Probably has something to do with the video card or the machine itself.

Here's my specs maybe someone has a suggestion:

Dell XPS 3.2 GHZ HT 800MHZ FSB
2 120 Gig HDDs Serial ATA Raid 0
ATI Radeon 9800/Catalyst 3.4
1 Gig DDRAM 400

All sliders to the max including AI

Frames at around 50-60 but I limit to 20

Thanks to all of you for your replies and to #9 who made me take a look at the cloud situation.

Challenge is a good thing and I'm sure that I'll have some surprises for you all.

I toured one of those things when it was the YC-15, mid 1970s.

They did'nt get any prettier in the transition to C-17 though.

Great shots I must admit.

Nice shots Ramsa haven't heard from you for a while.

Am I right in saying that is an FSDS v1 design? Does that mean that FSDS v1 desiigns work in COF?

With the clouds it may be the weather sheme.

great shots ramsa!  the cloud issue i think is point of view.  sometimes in real life situations at higher altitudes clouds tend too look 2-D, depending on how the light hits them.  by the way,  i'm having a little better luck with the 45.23 drivers in acof.
