Practice night 2 (or three, I'm not sure)!!!

Postby Smoke2much » Tue Jul 29, 2003 4:51 pm

Ozzy(Mark), Hawker(Roger) and I (Will) had another practice session this evening.  We have been attempting to learn to fly three Spitfires in formation.  This IS NOT easy LOL.......

1. Roger and Ozzy in fairly tight formation just about to buzz the yellow bridge in front of Battersea power station.

2. Roger and ozzy under tower bridge.

3. Ozzy "Bang to rights" Hee hee hee

4. Roger thinks he's in a field for some reason.  I think he's over Greenwich!

5. And this is what passes for practice....

Apologies to those with slow download speeds, I'm at the limit with these five.  Thanks to Sarah, she took 239 screen shots for me whilst I flew the plane and then waded through them with me, I have loads left.  Formation flying is HARD, as soon as you get close the other plane warps around the sky as if it's taken acid.  We are getting better though.  Honest.......

Okay two things.
1) I think I've fixed the connection problem Will.
2) There isn't a Hurricane in 2k2. We could do two Spitfires and a Lanc.

Nice pictures by the way Will. Roger hit quite a few buildings and still wouldn't tell me where the one with the nice secretary is..... :(

Mark

PS. Thank Sarah for me, and tell her she's earned the stamps ;)

PPS. Will you're a lot harder to tag than Roger! So when is the next game of it?

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

If you want to add a Hurricane to FS2002 then download one of Mauro's and shove it in the FS folder.

We're trying to stick to FS2K2 planes only and not use CFS2 if possible so to help avoid any problems otherwise I'd be flying one of Paul Rebuffat's superb MkIXe's. Also to help people to find the planes easily we are trying to stick to SimV downloads as much as possible.
