Haaaaaalleluyah, Halleluyah, Halleluyah, Halleluyah, Halleluuuuuuyaaaaaah (Record Player screeches to a dead halt)!!!!!!!!

I have $68 dollars on my wallet, and a KICK-@55 computer that can make FS2002pro look like FS95. ;D

My specs:

Pentium 4 processor with 2.4GHZ
512MB RAM
Geforce4 MX440 (Gateway) with 128MB
Around 40x+ speed CD-ROM and CD-RW
Sound Blaster Audigy
Optical Mouse
Windows XP
60GB Hard Drive
15" Flat LCD monitor

Don't tell me to upgrade my video card. The video card is powerful enough as it is and I like it how it is. Besides, I have the file that I downloaded from Simviation. It enables Geforce MX versions to display reflections on FS2002.

As you can see, I am ready to buy the FS2004 ACOF as soon as it hits stores.

Re: Problems...

Postby RIC_BARKER » Tue Jul 22, 2003 4:46 pm

Just a quick recap on a couple of things I have noticed...

You still can't fly to the poles in FS9, and you can still only get to 99,999ft.

Also, some animation won't work - for example, the DSB Eurofighter, the flaps are operative, but don't move in the sim.

Chrome textures will need to be modified for FS9. The alpha values that determine reflectivity seem to be handled differently, giving metal surfaces an "overexposed" look.

If anyone want's an explanation of this, I'll post a pic.

Regards,

Ric B.

Guys guys.....don't fret!

As has been said, if you can run FS2002 ok, FS9 will be fine. You won't need a Cray or a SGI workstation to run it well!
