At Last! A decent Ultralight for FS2002

Postby Iroquois » Fri Jul 04, 2003 9:03 pm

I found what many have be searching for. The legendary holy grail, a decent Ultralight for FS2002. Before there were just the Autogyros but I found one at FlightSim.com with a fixed wing. Their membership methods may be annoying but they have some great unfound treasures there. I should mention that its at Avsim and SurCarlo too, however Avsim's download service has been down for a few days and SurCarlo is always busy. I haven't had any problems getting into FlightSim at all. Anyway here are the screenshots.

The exterior is well done complete with transparent hanglider style wing.

The virtual cockpit has no guages but is very well done with moving parts. I just use the Shift+Z feature to see where I am.

I should also note that there is a very good hanglider that makes a great complement to this, it's available at Flightsim and Avsim as well I believe. I'll post some pics of it soon. Oh yes, just do a search for "Cosmos Ultralight" to find it.

No, still the good old Geforce2 MX400. I've been waiting for that bloody thing for over a week now. I guess because it's been a holiday week, the courier companies have been slow. Should get it by monday, and if I don't, they'll get a nasty email. I noticed that it has come out here in stores but it's quite expensive.
