The is no release date yet, mainly because the VC is still in its very early stages and the model still needs a few tweeks. It certainly won't be before FSCOF is released.

i guess they beat you to it Dan :(

they didn't beat any1, just because one group released one, doesn't mean another can't.

besides, so far I see just an A-50 Mainstay, Dan also has a regular cargo IL-76

sorry asnamara, guess my English isn't as great as yours ::)
by saying "they beat you to it" the guy meant that they had achieved the task of releasing an IL-76 before Dan, but why would that matter if both are releasing their designs? the other, more hidden implication was that just like racing, there can only be one person in first place, or that there's no need for multiple models of the same AC, at least that's what I got from it.

well, for one because dans is a half finished beta design (IMO)
and another, if one person makes a better model, that means i will delete the previous model that i like less.
so youre not SUCK with a crappy model of the plane cuz some one already made it and no one else will make a better one

that is a Mainstay, but they will be doing all of them, even the civilian ones

Man I wish people would make aircraft like that for CFS3.  I love those bog, heavy civilian planes, but I hate FS2002. :P
