well we would have had something to be proud of with the tsr.2 if it was completed.

yeah.with new avionics ,the TSR 2 could even today be superior to the F-111 or the Tornado.

Well the conservatives considered bringing it back in the eighties when the MRCA project (tornado nowadays) ran into snags but the europeans got a bit upset so no tsr.2.

And as regards to dear old tony........ don't get me started :-/
