Good Comparison

Hi there,
I thought this might be a good comparison of real life and FS2002. The first shot is from the game. The second is the real plane that I actually fly. Both shots are taken from approximately the same altitude, heading, speed, season and time of day. I wasn't actually flying GMAX when this shot was taken and there seem to be an island missing from the game shot, or maybe it was just not the right angle. If anyone one is curious, GMAX is an aerobatic version of the 152. Its a blast to fly, even has 5 points harnesses!!

That is really wild. I take it your from around here rifleman. I live in New Westminster and fly out of Boundary Bay(My home airport). I haven't flown in a while, I was going for my commercial but ran out of money(maybe that's why I'm using this sim so much, I miss it!). GMAX was the first plane, I ever flew and pretty much the last. Its got a fully restored engine and flies pretty good. Its a little rough around the edges though. It even has two little windows in the roof. Gives a great view when practicing spin recoveries. This picture above is right over boundary bay. Its a stock photo from the Montair website. That land below it is Point Roberts.
Well talk to you late and if I can scan them I've got some great shots of me and my buddy cruising around in GMAX over the Lower Mainland.

One last thing.

Rifleman, I noticed you have model airplanes in your pictures. I am curious if you know my old boss. I work for Greyhound Courier in sales. My boss was Mark Bryne, he moved to another company recently but he is an expert r/c flyer (I think he's well known), I think he even sets up pro competitions. I know he has a website and if I can remember the link, I'll post it. Needless to say he was ecstatic to find out I flew( I thinks it's the reason I got hired!! haha)
