A VERY FUN RIDE part1

Postby Fly2e » Sat Jun 14, 2003 9:38 am

I am starting to really enjoy flying more of the smaller prop planes. Even though taking out this Spitfire was no "relaxing" flight, I had a really fun time at the controls. In the past, my machine could never really handle the fast motion of the Spitfire. There were always delays in reaction to my joystick and frame rate problems which made for an "unrealistic" flight. After the twaks with Ramsa, from the moment I started my taxi down the runnway, to taking off, to rooling and diving, it was one of the most exciting flights I have ever flown in FS2k2.

After kicking over the engine, I started my roll towards the runway.

Here we go....

The Spitfire took off beautifully. As we climbed towards the sky, I started my turn towards the coast.

Looking out my window, I could see the countryside and cranberry boggs below.

Faster and faster we went, as the roar of the engine cut through the valley!!

It wasn't too far off now.....I could see the coastline up ahead.
