Thanks for the comments guys. I just love this plane. It stands on its tail and just goes up, fantastic!
I'm one of those luck few here that remembers Lightnings in service. Just like the Vulcan, the Lightning was an airshow show stopper. It was almost always the last on the program and would finish the show by running down the crowd line at Mach.8 and climbing to 40 odd thousand feet in no time at all. Just awsome.
Next stop, Thunder City ;D (I wish!)
