No, sorry, you left out  " Other ".

I feel a screenshot is more about it's overall composition
regardless of the backdrop.

It can be many things, from the simplest to the most complex.

It is art.

I voted other because I like to use a cross between a couple of the options. I always like to use light/moderate clouds and often dusk/sunset. I find silver or metalic aircraft with or without reflective textures look awsome at dusk/sunset.

I've plumped for other, each screenshot is unique. However certain scenery really helps, breweries, ladies sunbathing etc  ;D Just kidding Stormy ouch aargh. I have to say that there are many great freeware add-on scenery parts that can help to make a shot of a plane look great, and take it from screenshot to artwork that should be hung up in the Tate, if they ever get any taste. >:(

I love flying in bad weather. I am freak for that. I like the challenge and it is no question i have that great bad weather splashscreen of a 'heavy' on final and thunderstorm on the runway or near it. Fantastic. I love bad weather for screenshots. I think the rain, and the thunder and rays along with the dark clouds and something like trees with a few house on the ground make for a great screenshot

generally i don't like night/dusk/dawn shots as much as day time ones.
personally my good screenies are generally over the addon water textures with some thunder heads in the background
