Latest Beavers for all the bush fliers out there!

Postby Fozzer » Sat Mar 22, 2003 7:07 am

Here are a few quick pics of the latest De Havilland Beavers in the SimV downloads.
Out of the wheel, floats, amphibian versions included, this is the amphibian model...
They fly like a dream, excellent for short field take-offs...!

Manoeuvreing into the jetty at Byron lake...(not easy, as all the "Floaters" know)...LOL..!

I never thought I'd say this to another bloke, but Fozzer my friend you have a very nice beaver.

Great shots but the floats don't look that realistic in the water.  Not your fault tho'.  I'll take it up with Bill when I see him next.

Will ;D

(Reply to Cessna519NH...note how shallow the water is? If the wheels were not lowered prior to reaching the waters edge the floats would be holed!...gloop, gloop, gloop).... ;)...!

Cheers...
