Staggeringly nice

Postby ramsa329 » Sat Mar 22, 2003 6:00 pm

This is a brand new Beechcraft Staggerwing considered by many to be one of the most beautiful planes ever made.

There are two versions one is freeware and the other is payware this is the payware version from:

http://www.staggerwing.narod.ru/

The freeware version is available at AVSIM. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but is still really nice.

Nice plane and pics...looks like the floats aren't in the water though!

Lovely pictures there Ramsa.  Seems to be a problem in Fs2k2 with the water/float interface.  It just doesn't look right at low speed.

Otherwise fantastic.

Thanks for your replies.

Actually In the first and second shots the plane was bobbing up and down and I probably snapped it at the wrong moment.

In the 3rd shot the floats are already pretty much clear of the water and that would have been better if I'd shot it a little bit later in the day for more light.

nice shots, but to my opinion: not the most beautiful plane ever made!  :)

Tongue,

I'm sure that the question of that will be settled by history.

Oftentimes designers of planes talk about grace and flow and I believe that the grace and flow of the lines of this plane make it.....................................

ONE OF THE - NOT THE ONLY ONE BECAUSE I NEVER SAID THAT - MOST BEAUTIFUL PLANES EVER MADE
