The original BOP's were a light grey...most paint guides I have seen suggest a "light gull grey". That particular colour is so light that you can be forgiven for thinking it white. I wouldn't have known myself except I painted one a while back for a friend.
Both the Borg and the BOP are back-burner projects that only get worked on when I'm bored/frustrated by other stuff. Maybe 60 days until complete...depending on how bored I get.
There will be a FS 2002 version (I don't get along well with FS2K)...a TNG version may follow in the distant future.
