Russian Focker-Wulfs?

Postby Crumbso » Sat Mar 08, 2003 7:33 pm

Just a mistake actually in Il-2 I forgot to set my side as the Germans so its Russian fw-190's and German P-39's.
The quality of the first five is awful because I made a mistake in photoshop but I believe they are the best pics I had in a while. Can't wait for forgotten battle. I used to be a cfs2 nut and thought that Il-2 was rubbish but once you give it a chance and get into it it is one of the most engrossing combat sims around.

I did this a an attack by four ace p-39's and 1 ace Lagg-3 against four fw-190's me being the fokker with everything on full realism I got four out of five kills and survived to landing ;D

Nice shots Crumbso pal. That Fw-190 looks quite good in Soviet markings! Nice to see one or two IL-2 screen shots.

Nice shots. Arn't the IL2 graphics somthing? yes they are.

Colicab it is piss easy to hit targets in IL2 and CFS3. Just aim and shoot. easy peasy. ;D

I used to find it bloody hard but it is easier to hit in CFS3 so train yourself on full realism for that then get Il-2 and use the mouse to look around its very cool and without any aids that make it unrealistic like an arrow pointing to the planes its very exhilarating.
