Very nice!
It was such a marvelous year with so many Piper Cubs, hands down my favorite part of it!

Being my first time to go I can't say that I had a true favorite airplane or favorite moment, other than when we pulled into camp at 11:30 at night and were finally able to say..

WE HAVE ARRIVED!

just the excitement of driving in and setting up and knowing that we were going to spend a week around a TON of aircraft!

That is almost exactly how my first experience was. We (dad and I) pulled a travel trailer from Zeeland, MI through Chicago (lots of construction) then up to Camp Scholler. We got to Fon du Lac around 8pm and a few Mustangs and a variety of others were flying everywhere. Then we pulled into camp and saw the shear size of just the camp. Absolutely stunning, the shock of AirVenture for first-timers is incredible! We had that same "We arrived at Oshkosh!" feeling.

I love to say it, I am absolutely addicted to Airventure. Love every bit of it.

Too bad so many of our mates from across the pond cannot come to it.
