Cactus 1549 walk around Pt 4

Postby expat » Fri Jul 20, 2012 3:46 pm

Here we can see why the aircraft started to sink at the rear. Looking at the damage, it is amazing that the aircraft stayed afloat for the length of time it did. I also spoke to one of the team who are preserving the aircraft, what is not to be seen is the aft galley floor has lost all structural integrity and you can see the outside world through the floor from inside.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

To be fair, Sullie has never said a thing, it was the media ::) He has always been very modest and always said it was a team effort from cockpit and cabin crew.

Matt

Although in 3 years he's managed to churn out two books... ;) ;D
