1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Taka taka taka.... ::)  Great pics, the Merlin is still an icon, and one of the great British sounds, (behind Astons, E-Types, and the Vulcan, and maybe Jeremy Clarkson, or May)

Thanks to the re-arranging of the museum I've finally been able to get some decent shots of a couple of old friends Doug ;)

Great photos ozzy, and the more I hear about the air cadets the more I wish I'd joined them when I could have done a few years ago. Ah well. ;)
