just wondering but how big was the tornado?
i mean actual size not strenght.
was it like 100m,200m,500m or anything else?
Wikipedia:
The National Weather Service has determined the path length of this violent tornado to be 80.3 miles (129.2 km) with a maximum damage path width of 1.5 miles (2.4 km). The tornado's most intense damage indicated peak winds of around 190 mph (310 km/h); therefore, it was given a final rating of EF4.You can get a pretty good idea how big this thing was watching this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyszJj0V ... re=relatedIt went right through downtown. While we were driving around, everything looked normal, just like anytown, then suddenly there is a clean cut line of destruction going through downtown, everything is flattened, then everything looks normal again. Very surreal.
Thanks for your input Larry. I was wrong calling this an EF5, apparently it was an EF4. I could only imagine what an EF5 would have done
