While heading for the Goose.......

Postby Rifleman » Tue Dec 07, 2010 3:27 pm

On Labour Day weekend, Wendy and I visited the Spruce Goose in Oregon.....it necessitated a trip across the waters south of Vancouver Island.........
This is the Ferry "Coho", taken from about the mid-point between Victoria B.C. and Pt Angeles in Washington State.....

Dang Ken, that is a definite contest winner.  :o

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Ken, what effect is that?

Dave, in  P'shop CS5, they call this an HDR Tone effect.....not really an HDR since it only uses one image, but it is a total tone mapping of the colours which are present in your shot....

Indeed it is weird Mark.....I only did it for a friend who is using it a bit too much. I did it to excess for my personal liking, but it can be tailored for as much or little as you might want to make the original scene go on the surreal side ..... :-/
