Perks of the job!!

After a bit of troubleshooting on an engine last night I had to replace an air valve. This required a run up to confirm that the problem was fixed. Once the testing is complete, you have to give the engine a five minute cool down phase. Time to get the camera out whist waiting to shut down, that or hold conversation with the guy on the headset "downstairs"........he is not much of a conservationist ;D
Pictures taken with my phone.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
