One in flight (Cropping and Compression murdered this shot.)

Taken at a local state park, suprised how fast it went.

Really hard to capture clearly with a 55-200mm Non-VR and no Tripod,

For anyone interested:
1/1250 Shutter Speed
F/8 Aperture
ISO 400
Nikon D3000
Manual Exposure Mode.

Nice toy, both camera and plane, but why ISO 400 on such a bright day :-?

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I think I originally started on Sunny 16 with 1/400th F/16 and ISO 400, I stepped down to F/8 for sharpness and increased my shutter for detail, I think I just forgot about the ISO setting, I was focused on trying to get the Jet in frame
