End of season fly-in

Well, that's about it for another year. Here's a few of the more unusual visitors at Popham on Sunday. Once the mist cleared it was a beautiful day for it.

First time I've seen this one. Complete with casualty on a stretcher.


A very nice Wittman Tailwind.


Another first timer.


We don't see too many float-planes in this part of the world.

Float Planes..>>

We don't have an awful lot of inland water in Britain to suit float planes, and although we are surrounded by Sea, it would appear that float planes are not happy with landing, and taking off, on the Sea?...choppy waves?... ...!

Once again Doug, fine shots. Really like a look at a One Design which I've only seen in model form..........keep tripping that shutter release....... 8-)
