1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Great photos.  Where were they taken?

There's just something special about the Lancaster - my uncle used to fly Halifaxes with the Canadian 434 Squadron based in Tholthorpe UK with Bomber Command before he moved on to the Lancs.  He has fond memories of them.

cause it has 4 of the same engines as you would find on your spitfire!

4 Merlin engines .......... is bigger than 1 Merlin engine.

Unless it's fitted with radial's, then first choice is the spitfire ;)

Something just occurred to me. I have been to quite a few American air displays and the the difference between the US and Europe............you would never get within 50 feet of the BBMF Lancaster :(
