This is the stuff my ex Father-in-Law, from Swansea in South Wales, used to collect from the beaches at low tide, prepare, and eat...

Honestly I'm not sure what they do about the Kelp, i believe they clean it up but where it goes I have no idea, maybe like you said, fertilizer or fish food...

Yup, seen plenty of those out here. Went fishing on the gulf one time and saw 3 water spouts all in the same general area... yet far enough to not worry about.

Hey, you were only about 45 minutes west of where Im at!
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

I would have looked you up if I knew.  I was in Pensacola and Gulf Shores/Orange Beach for about 8 days before heading up to Tuscaloosa, and then unfortunately back here to Cali  >:(
