Work hard...play hard

Postby BigTruck » Wed Jun 30, 2010 10:38 pm

The troops did an outstanding job this field op so while they were cleaning the area up us Sgt's set up an Ultimate Frisbee field to let them blow off some steam and compete a bit.  Turns out we couldn't find a frisbee out there, so we played Ultimate MRE with the "cheese and veggie omelette" MRE... and the losing team all had to eat the MRE.

My Dad said they used to use them as critter repellent in Vietnam, because even they feared them.  ;D  ;)

MRE.....Meals Ready (for) Ethiopians!!
Still in a previous life that involved a blue suit but all too often a green one, we used to swap the UK rat-packs for MRE's when ever possible. They are not as bad as you think Truck ;D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
