One thing I do really appreciate about desert regions is the sunset, all that dust in the atmosphere makes for some glorious evenings.

We had dust devils come through many times a day, and the wind made it seem like there were dust storms almost everyday, but there were no full blown middle east style storms (thankfully)

That last one is just crying for a composite with your favorite Stationair, in silhouette.
