With the renewed interest in Alaska, thought I'd blow up my little avatar so you could see the big ones from a seldom seen side.

Excellent scenes in the background. During spring thaw.. how did you know when to take the skis off? Being the ground is only partially snow covered and one strip may not be the same ground cover as your destination. I don't see wheels sistered to the skis.   :)

Very nice... I'd almost rather have a good high-hp Pacer, with skis and droop tips, than a Super Cub.  8-)

Some unusually nice weather in that shot, too... that must have been a good flight.  :)
