Fun in the Mud

Postby BigTruck » Sun Feb 21, 2010 10:43 pm

Well we went to the field this weekend for a "camping trip" and little did we know that the place we went to (Fort Hunter-Ligget) had been receiving rain for a month.  The ground was super-saturated with water and even made waves under our feet, it was like walking on water.  We weren't aware of the soft conditions as we arrived and the obvious happened when we tried to drive several tons of armor and steel over it...six wheel drive couldn't even get us out of it, all vehicles had to be winched out.

All shots were taken with my phone, that's why they a lousy quality.

We tested some nukes while we were out there too  :D

Yes we can see you are having fun but did you learn anything from all this fun?    :)

I wonder what poor little mud monkey had to wash these beasts after all this was over.  I bet he was below a General in rank.   ;D

Still...darn it I wish I had of been invited along, I miss four wheeling.   ;D    ;)

Looks like my back yard after the snow storm we had 2 weeks ago.   I got a 4wheel drive SUV, and i buried it to the axles as well.   .. oh well, at least I only had to walk 50 feet back to the warmth of the house.   :P
