Case of spring fever

Postby firemonte007 » Tue Dec 22, 2009 9:23 pm

Today my beautiful bride gave me one of my Christmas presents alittle early....I now have a case of Sping Fever. She took care of the intital down for lay-away. The bike is a 2001 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom with 18,000 miles. Already has some performace mods done along with foward controls and backrest. It is in cherry condition...barely been riden and I could not pass up on the price ;)

They can be polished up all shiny and look quite nice, but when it comes to taking them out of the "around town" mode, those forward controls and reaching for the bars into the wind, you may find that this style of bike isn't the best for going places on the hwy for any length of time. Still, how can a man say no to a woman who is supportive enough to get you in the saddle..........very nice catch on the woman, and enjoy the bike......... 8-)

P.S. you know you'll have a very frequent pillion rider once you start up that Milwaukee Vibrator and she gets a feel of it.... ;)

wow, Stunning Harley there,
Take care on her when you get to take her on a ride and keep it rubber side down!

[color=#000000]Very nice. I've never owned a Harley but I've wanted one. Love the sound, but I don't like the typical riding position of most of them. I prefer leaning forward with my feet behind me, like it would be with rear set pegs. Maybe one day I can get one custom built the way I want.
Take care of it, but take better care of your better half. You've got a keeper in her. And above all, keep the shiney side up.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
