Indian summer Sunday-pt 1 of 5

Postby beaky » Mon Nov 09, 2009 3:35 pm

I was planning to do some gliding Sunday, to polish up for the check ride... but James A. called Saturday afternoon to see if I wanted another L19 ride, with stops at Sky Manor and Van Sant. The glider gang was planning to head over to Sky Manor for breakfast anyway, so I figured maybe I'd just go with J. and see if we got back in time for me to do a glider flight. Didn't work out, but it was a pretty good day anyway...

[color=#000000]I had planned to say "I like the nose art on the Champ and L3" but then I saw the Loach. Wow! Great pics.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Good looking Champ, was at a flying bugsmasher field the other day and saw one in almost the same livery.  He was going to be putting her on skis soon.
