Evening romp in the Citabria

Postby flyboy 28 » Fri Oct 23, 2009 2:07 pm

Gliding boss Herb called me up yesterday and asked if I wanted to "come out and play". I think we all know the answer to that one. :) Not too many pics as I had the stick for a good amount of time. "You know how to fly? Shit, why am I doing all the work then?" ;D

After a brief pump-up of the tailwheel, we were good to go.

Herb's latest acquisition.

Just airborne from 47N. That's the CSX rail running southwest into Philly.

Very cool cloud formations all day yesterday. Altostratus perhaps?

Focus fail. :( Round Valley Reservoir is in the background.

That's great that Herb/Gus invited you... he probably felt bad about nixing your glider ride that last gusty day we were all there.  ;D
I haven't officially met 3GL yet; looking forward to it... she looks like a good 'un.

...I'll tell you what...

I love the last photograph. A lovely, warm, soft, Autumn view!... :)...!

I've saved it for my Desktop, now that Winter is approaching!. (Makes a nice contrast to my Desktop Icons and Text).

...thanks, James!

Paul.
