Holidays

Postby Meck » Fri Oct 02, 2009 4:21 am

Hey,

I've been on a 10 day holiday to egypt and saw some (at least I think) exots. Flight has been DE1834 LEJ - HRG to and DE 4035 HRG - LEJ from egypt. Excuse the bad quality - still saving my money for anything else than a digicam...

First of all two russians:
Il-86

Tu-154M (Belarusian Airlines - new paint)

...and on the way home (shot at ~160km/h on the highway out of the window): two Antonovs and a rusty Interflug Tu-134

and finally: another great thing to fly around with (port of El Gouna)

So that's where I saw the An-124 flying to above the dead sea! Thanks WOAI :)

Thanks for sharing - never knew these old birds still fly  ::)

Could be - I'm not too familiar with typing them...  :-/

Good to see that even the residents and spotter-kings here appreciate a newbie's pics!  ;) :D

The Interflug is definitely an Ilyushin IL-62.
These shots are great, and that boat looks very nice!
:)

(Personally, it's easier for me to see differences with Russian birds than with your standard Boeing and Airbus tubes.)

Very cool, I have never seen any of these in person except for the AN-124 (lands here at NASA quite frequently)

That airfield looks almost identical to Al Taqaddum in Iraq with those hangars in the background  8-)
Alienware X51_R2 (thank you wife) Windows 8.1, 6GB Ram, Intel Core i3-4150 CPU @3.50GHz
FSX Acceleration settings on max, no twitches or glitches.
