So........did any incident arise from the "whale" coming in on the wrong runway or did the tower catch the situation and fix it, before it became a problem?

Very different from what we're used to seeing here... Must be cool to have seen that A380 in person

You are certainly the globe trotter in the last few days ;D A nice set of pictures. Still waiting for my first view of an A380.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

After I spoke to the tower crew, they understood their mistake and apologized, assuring me that next time I'll be in singapore, they will guide the whale to the proper runway where I stand.  ;D

Thanks for the comments guys!
@tcco94: I think Emirates operates one of its A380 to LAX, and you live in california, right?

I live in the Bay Area near SFO. Although I should go spotting down there because I know that some of the A380's land down there ill have to do it once I get my license.

Im not sure of Emirates being in SFO, I think it was Singapore or maybe even Qantas. One of the 3.  :D
