Not sure, but it was very graceful in its movement through the sky for such an ungainly looking beast, and it was fairly big.

here is a slightly enhanced and enlarged view looking at it from behind, the details are still pretty muddy, but you can see two engines and the two crew member's legs, and a good portion of the frame work.

They all kind of look alike to me at that stage of aviation.

I don't think there's much doubt about it. Look at the shadow in this pic. http://www.wright-b-flyer.org/web-brown/bb004-070721-wbf-flying-IMG_1050-good-sm.jpg

That shadow is dead on.  Good eye.  :)

Can't be many aircraft with that configuration flying in that area.

There can't be that many aircraft like this flying anywhere.  ;D

Kudos to those who dedicate themselves to keeping her in the air.  :)

Shane, I was at the Museum on Saturday too. The Wright B was doing flyovers for the Air Force marathon.

You could've been standing right next to Brett and I several times and we'd have never known it.  :-[

Were you there for the marathon?

Had I not had school I probably would have joined you guys.  I'm owed a favour by my mum that I could have used on a trip down there.

If you would give me more warning I would probably go also, I haven't be to the museum in about 8 years. I think its been total re-done since I was there. I think I can drive it in about 4 hours from Pittsburgh.
