Photo Contest Pt2

Postby glennlcasey » Tue Sep 15, 2009 8:52 pm

I'm planning on entering one of the local shows here in Perth. One of the sections is Photography, so i'd thought i'd share what i'm entering. Hope you like

Here's a random pic i took the other day. A Singapore Airlines A330 appearing through clouds...I gave it a bit of sepia on the pic i developed at the photo lab and it came out rather mystical

I tried a similar shot with my wife in Alabama, but the camera managed to focus on the flowers too much, and she was blurred lol dammit.

well i was about a metre behind the flowers, and i aimed at jodie(sister) and she was close enough to the other side of the garden bed that the shot came together... This was taken with a 70-300mm lens

I agree with Steve. #3 is a cracker. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I love the last shot. The dust just adds character to it!

Sorry but I can't agree. I think the dust spots are more likely to be on the sensor than the lens. Blemishes tend to show up in shots like this one & the competition judges will know that.

You could easily remove the spots from this photo with image editing software.
