That's a very scruffy looking gull in #2. What type is it?

Only my opinion but they might look better at a faster shutter speed.

I agree about the shutter speed, I was shooting sunset shots and just turned real quick to snap some gulls.  I appreciate the compliments and criticism though, they are your standard seagull, some younger than others which explains the colors and scruffyness

Great shots BT!!

In Jersey we call them Flying Rats!!  :)
A friend of ours was on the boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ and just brought a slice of pizza.  She was walking and taking a bite when a seagull swooped down and snatched the pizza away from her!!

;D  Yeah pigeons are flying rats where I'm from as well.  I'm not positive, but the adults look just like Western Gulls, I can't seem to find anything stating what exact species they are in Michigan.

Some really nice shots Truck. The black and whites do it for me!

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Thanks Matt, had to add a little life to the pictures, figured black and white would make them a bit more interesting  :)
