A day out at the local RAF station today - Was kept busy by the home team and the usual DC8 which looked stunning coming around the loop (despite the torrential rain )

Bit of a strange day weather wise...torrential rain followed by blue skies followed by torrential rain...still, created some nice prop vortices though

US KC130J that arrived with pressurisation problems yesterday.....still not fixed by the looks of it.

Great shots, Mic! A huge-ass cargo DC-8 just passed low overhead, heading to Las Palmas for manteinance. Thought it was going to crash... Then I remembered all that smoke is normal in an old DC-8
