Wicked Wild Weather

Postby Mobius » Sat Jul 25, 2009 12:56 am

We had a strong line of storms pass through Iowa and western Wisconsin today, dropping 4 in hail (grapefruit size!) in parts of eastern Iowa and western Wisconsin, so I went out and did a little spotting and photographing this evening, although most of the weather missed us and by the time I was able to get going, most of it had passed already.

The backside of the storm after it went through this afternoon:

Thanks for looking. ;)

Stunning shots!  :o 8-)

I love the lightning shot.

Unfortunately, this weather is heading my way.  :(

We don't need any more hail producing storms here.  ;)

[quote]Moving closer wouldn't help, the problem is where we stay, My cousin usually goes and we stay in his Motorhome, this year he isn't going, so we are out of luck.
