94H returns to the sky

I only have camcorder grabs right now, and I hope James will have some nicer stills to show... but the bottom line is: she flew three hops today, and no major problems, just a couple of little squawks.
Phew... I have had my hands on every single part of his machine, including some very important ones... it was a relief to see thee safe, successful flights.
She passed the final inspection, weighing in a few pounds lighter than before, and Herb was very happy with her performance overall.

I flew backseat in the L3 "chase plane" for the first, then shot some more video from the ground for the next two.

The video isn't really still-worthy from the very first takeoff, but here's #2, where I had my feet on the ground and no L3 innards to obstruct me.

Excellent. It's a wonderful feeling to see something you've worked on take to the air for the first time. Now you can hopefully spend a bit of time flying it.

How's the job situation? Not heard much about that lately.

It is a great feeling, and it should be interesting flying it with such intimate knowledge of how it works.

Not much to tell... but I'm surviving. Freelance work trickling in, and it may improve soon. But not too much, I hope!  After I solo, I will be at the airport any time I can get a tow... ;D
