Yeah, because a large platoon with heavy artillery, helicopters, guns and god knows what else, isn't enough warning. :o ;D

[color=#000000]Nice shots, beautiful countryside. I do find it interesting though that you use chocks on the vehicles. Marines think of everything.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Why are you guys wearing Desert MARPAT pants and Woodland MARPAT jackets??? Is it kuwait all over again (I think it was Kuwait where Marines had MARPAT mix ups)

You have the right idea, it wasn't MARPAT yet back when we fought in Kuwait, they were using tri-colors.  But yeah, their MOPP gear was still green and they were wearing desert cammo.

The woodland MARPAT gortex jackets and pants are still standard issue to units in the rear for rain protection.  They are focusing on issuing the desert MARPAT gortex to the Marines in the middle east right now, since they need them more than we do.

Why did we wear desert cammies in the mountain forest?  So we could be distingiushed from the instructors and so we are easier to spot if we get lost lol.
