Central Australia '09 Part 2

On Day 3 we started for Uluru

we got there and the climb was closed, we ended up walking around the base (the full 9kms) and after we finished we started to climb.

We got past the first set of chains to see this

The next day we went to kings canyon and i got to go in a helicopter.

That sunset shot is breath taking, as a rookie photographer I am extremely jealous!!

pity though ive only got a Cannon powershot A700 no SLR yet

but i did use one of the girls DSLR and i took some fairly good shots but i dont know where to get them off yet :P

My point and shoot is a Canon Powershot A620 and it takes terrific pictures, but since I got my DSLR I never use it anymore lol
