6:30am, 29 degrees F, last time I had been to bed was 28 hours ago, last meal was a rabbit I snared the morning before...but man, it was worth it 8-)
Mountain warfare training turned out to be quite the challenge. They really do make you fend for yourself, there's no sugar coating it. They certainly train you for it, but you really do have to apply everything they train you to do. If you want to eat, you better catch it. If you want to be warm, you better pay attention to the weather. If you want to drink water, better know how to purify it. And if you want to survive, you better know some warfare tactics, because the enemy is also trying to kill, only faster than mother nature :o
(of course there is safety measures in place, but you will suffer before anyone comes to your aid lol)
Aside from that, it's gorgeous up there, and I paid attention so I got through just fine (lost 14lbs but came out rather healthy, and rabbit is rather yummy when yer hungry, but goat tastes like rubber lol ugh)
