Cosford Airshow 14/6/09

Postby 61_OTU » Sun Jun 14, 2009 6:40 pm

Hi folks,

I don't intend to go mad, here are a few shots from Cosford

The main event, no one could quite believe that it was going to make it, until eventually a familiar triangular shape could be seen in the distance. The experience was truly earth shattering

Old Crow, gotta love P51's  8-)

Pretty Belgian Sea King, SAR demo was too far off for me though....

Ear splitting stuff  :)

The F86 Sabre. Apparently soon due a major overhaul, so it's being sold to the States  :( I probably won't see it again, but it was great to see it one last time....

Lovely shots Steve....especially the typhoon and sabre  8-) 8-)

When's the sabre leaving?....first I've heard of it. Will it finish this year's display season and go over the winter?

Yup thats the one Mic. Oregon I believe

Brilliant photos Steve. You did much better than I did with the Typhoon. It's always just that little to far for my lense.

anyone notice the lack of a tailwheel on the p-51???
Carriers would be so mush easier to land on if they would just stop turning!!!
