Esselbach inspired moon photos

Postby machineman9 » Sun May 31, 2009 4:28 pm

Saw the photos in the other thread and it inspired me to look out the window and I was impressed with what I saw. I had the Liveshoot mode turned on at my computer (so I could take the photos from there without shaking - Though I could have used timed mode) and it was quite cool to see the moon move so quickly across the screen. Well, it seemed quick for something so very far away.

Cheers for looking.

Interesting, the angle of the shadow on the moon is different than here. Makes sense, but I just never thought about it before....

Nice job... 8-)

Yeah, well besides the angle of the shadow our two photos look fairly similar - Mostly seem to be looking at the same part of the moon.

7th June is supposed to have a full moon if I remember correctly, so keep a look out for it.
