My (not so) new truck

Postby specter177 » Mon Mar 16, 2009 3:00 pm

Newish to me at least. Had it for about a year. It's a 1991 (or '93, I don't remember) Ford Bronco "Nite" edition, with a 5.0 L V8. Gets a whopping 12 miles to the gallon. With a 32 gallon tank, it takes a bit to fill up.

Is that the problem? We thought she had scrapped her nose on something, because it happened quite suddenly.

Yea, your right. It's got a 5.0. I didn't look at it and 3.5 was the first thing that popped into my head.  :-[

5 litre motor!... :o...!
That's the size of engines they put in Peterbilt Tractor Unit trucks... :o...!

It's also the engine they put in Ford Mustangs back when they were fast  8-)

...Gas guzzling, petrol, V-8 monster engines!...

...supercharged, or not...

...Beautiful!... ;)...!

They are a rarity on this side of the pond, and are instantly recognisable by their V-8 "growl"... 8-)...!

Most of our modern engines are in-line, fuel injected, 4 or 6 cylinder engines...

...or in the case of my Motor-bike...180 degree, normally aspirated, petrol Twin... :-*...!

Paul...Petrol Head...:)...!

I think the Chevvy 7-Litre V8 was the largest?
...(Corvette Stingray?).
