More moon shots

Full moon tonight, and I wanted to practice for the shuttle launch tomorrow night.

Can I ask how taking photos of the moon offers practice for a shuttle launch?

Hardly seems comparable

The moon was really bright last night.
Nice shots and post your shuttle shots here to i'd love to look at those  8-)
