Lakeland views....

When you're sitting around for hours you might as well take some landscape shots :P

Cloud begins to roll in over Thirlmere

Had a little visitor in the afternoon...a cute little red squirrel...I'm pretty chuffed to have caught one as they're becoming quite rare (first one I've ever seen)

Looking back over Thirlmere from the dam at the end late in the afternoon....snow on the peak of Helvellyn

View from the Jetty outside the Youth Hostel looking over Windermere in the morning

One of the many routes up the west side of Dunmail Raise...a good choice thanks to the easy to grab fence should you lose you footing, and the many large rocks strewn across the hillside to sit on :)

Looking back though the mist and smoke over Grasmere

Not a bad place to hang around hoping to see some aircraft go by. :)

Wow! Do you have 3 or 4 in the full resolution? Those would make great desktops :o

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
