Postby Leigh » Sat Feb 07, 2009 9:50 pm

As many of you might know here in Victoria we are have a heat wave and bush fires.

yesterday 10 brushfires were burning uncontrollably 1 was about 15-20 km away but i did know people how were right across the road from the fires

40 people have been reported killed 35 confirmed its a sad loss

i dont have the best camera and i think i was using the wrong settings sorry for the low quality shots

Right out side my house

It's scary to hear just how quickly the fire travels... like Doug said... be careful out there...

Hope the conditions start to favor the firefighters soon, such a hard thing to tackle!  Be careful and good luck!
